Application Program
Established Lawns
Apply at a rate of 15 Ibs. per 1,000 sq. ft. per established lawn application schedule.
New Lawns
Apply to soil at the rate of 30 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. before seeding and rake in. Cover the entire area from one direction (north-south), then cover again from the opposite direction.
Refertilize per established lawn application schedule at the rate of 15 Ibs. per 1,000 sq. ft

New SOD
Apply at a rate of 30 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Spread 15 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. over soil and 15 Ibs. per 1,000 sq. ft. over sod. Refertilize per established lawn application schedule at the rate of 15 Ibs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
Trees
Apply in the spring at the rate of 5 lbs. per inch of trunk diameter measured 4 ft. from the ground. Apply evenly under drip line or outer circumference of tree
Shrubs
At transplanting, mix approximately 1 cup OCEANGRO with soil and place around root ball. In spring, work 1-2 cups into soil around base. Repeat early mid-summer.
Annuals
Apply 3 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. at planting and work in.
Reapply 2 Ibs. per 100 sq. ft. every 12 weeks through August.

Perennials

Because of its slow release nature, it is not necessary to apply OCEANGRO during summer months. If summer application is desired, however, OCEANGRO is an ideal warm weather fertilizer when applied at the rate of 10 Ibs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
